Dridam, a recent Malayalam movie, is doing well in theatres and receiving favourable reviews from viewers, mostly due to its gripping story. According to reports that have arisen online, the movie will be accessible online on a well-known OTT platform after its theatrical run. The digital rights to this movie have reportedly been bought by JioHotstar.


Based on the current 40-day timeframe, the investigation thriller starring Shane Nigam is anticipated to be available for streaming by the middle or end of June 2026. In addition to Malayalam, the film is likely to be distributed in other South Indian languages. Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu is another Malayalam thriller that was just released on the same platform.

The main character in Dridam is Vijay Radhakrishnan, who on his first posting lands at a reportedly peaceful station in a small village. When human remains are discovered throughout the place, he quickly comes under pressure. To make matters worse, a banking entity is also robbed during these killings. Higher authorities are pressuring Vijay to prove his worth, so he needs to move fast to find out the truth about all of these heinous acts.


With Dridam, Martin Joseph, who previously worked as Jeethu Joseph's assistant, made his directorial debut. The movie is presented in theatres under the banners of E4 Experiments and Jeethu Joseph's Bed Time Stories. Apart from Shane Nigam, the thriller has important roles by Shobi Thilakan, Kottayam Ramesh, Sanya, Nandan Unni, Dinesh Prabhakar, and Krishna Prabha Nair. The screenplay for Dridam was written by Linto Devasia and Jomon John. In 2025, Shane Nigam played the lead roles in two movies – Balti and Haal.
