Along with other releases like Pennum Porattum and Spa, Sukhamano Sukhamann, which was praised as a charming romantic comedy, debuted in theatres on February 13 to mostly positive reviews from viewers. In this movie, Mathew plays Theo, a timid young guy assigned to operate an ambulance. But when he stumbles upon a gang of ghosts, his normal life is completely upended. The main focus of the film is how these occurrences alter his life's trajectory.
The film's director and writer is Arun Lal Ramachandran. Apart from Mathew Thomas, the movie features supporting roles from Jagadish, Sphadikam George, Kudassanad Kanakam, Nobi Marcos, Akhil Kavalayoor, Manikuttan, Jibin Gopinath, Abin Bino, Taba Reema, Gayathri Mayura, and Sandhya Manoj. Devika Sanjay, who made her screen debut in Fahadh Faasil's Njan Prakashan, plays the female lead role in Sukhamano Sukhamann. Devika is also a key character in Jayasurya's next big-budget movie, Kathanar.
Mathew Thomas’ another recent film, Nellikkampoyyil Night Riders, a horror comedy, is streaming on ZEE5. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has some of the latest Malayalam movies such as Bhishmar, Dheeram, and Pennu Case. Spa, which will also make its OTT debut this week, will be available to watch on Manorama Max from May 28. A Malayalam web series, Cousins & Kalyanams, will be accessible on JioHotstar from the same date.
