The psychological thriller, Faces, which was released in theatres on March 6, made its OTT debut this week. The film is now streaming on Sun NXT in Malayalam and Tamil with English subtitles. Here’s all about the movie before watching it online on this popular South Indian streaming platform.
The main character of the movie is Nitya, who experiences PTSD following the disappearance of her lover, Michael. After seeing his face in strangers, she experiences inner agony that compels her to discover the truth about them. Through her perspective, the viewers are taken into a gripping journey of the mystery of his disappearance and some sinister secrets as she looks for answers. Even though Faces did not receive a great deal of attention after it was released in theatres, those who saw it praised it as an intriguing one-time viewing experience.
Neelesh E K directed Faces, which stars Kalesh S Ramanand and Hannah Reji Koshy in the lead roles. Hannah is known for her performances in some of the recent thrillers, such as Jeethu Joseph’s Kooman and Mirage. Meanwhile, Kalesh has appeared in a supporting part in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Hridayam. Other supporting actors in this Malayalam thriller include Sarayu Mohan, Vijitha Vijayakumar (RJ Vijitha), Arjun Gopal, Mareena Michael, Bitto Davis, Sivaji Guruvayur, Aavni Anjalinair, and Lali PM.
Under the SVKA Movies' label, SKR, Arjun Kumar, and Janani had bankrolled the film. Neelesh, the director, and Suman Sudharsanan wrote the dialogue, screenplay, and story. Hari Narayanan BK penned the lyrics, while Gopi Sundar composed the music for the movie. In March, Good Fellas distributed Faces in cinemas.
