The pooja ceremony of director Nitish Sahadev’s third film was held in Kochi on July 9. It was earlier confirmed that Malayalam megastar Mammootty will play the lead in this untitled project.
This is the ninth film being produced by Mammootty under the banner of Mammootty Kampany. The film is written by director Nitish Sahadev and actor Anuraj OB. Jimshi Khalid is handling the camera work for the film. A star-studded cast is reportedly in the works for the movie. Soon, details on the film's technical crew and lead cast will be made public by the makers. This is the film produced by Mammootty Kampany after the blockbuster 2025 film, Kalamkaval, which is available to watch on Sony LIV.

Nithish Sahadev, who made his debut with the super hit Basil Joseph-starrer Falimy, had also directed a super hit film in Tamil titled Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil earlier this year. This movie, which starred Jiiva in the lead role, is streaming on Netflix. Meanwhile, Falimy can be watched on JioHotstar. This project with Mammootty, which is his second Malayalam film, is also generating a lot of excitement among his fans and audiences. Meanwhile, Mammootty will be appearing in a cameo role in Ranjith’s upcoming film, Law and Order. This cop drama, which has Thudarum-fame Prakash Varma playing the protagonist, will release in theatres on July 24.
