Naslen’s latest film, Mollywood Times, released in theatres on June 5. It was earlier reported that the movie’s OTT rights have been sold to a popular site. With its theatrical premiere, the makers have now confirmed that JioHotstar will be streaming Mollywood Times following its theatrical run. It is also likely that the flick will be available to watch in other South Indian languages on the same platform.

Vineeth Madhavan, the main character of the movie, wants to be the greatest filmmaker the Malayalam cinema industry has ever seen. His insistence on making the scariest film in Mollywood and his unwillingness to compromise on the calibre of his debut film lead to delay in the fulfilment of his dreams. The main focus of Mollywood Times is whether he would be able to succeed in the sector or if he would need to make adjustments due to the intricacies of the film industry.
