Love Mocktail 3 is OTT bound and, interestingly, it is not heading to the platform that was most expected – Amazon Prime Video, which hosts the first two parts of the franchise. On April 28, 2026, Darling Krishna, the film’s actor, director and producer, revealed that Love Mocktail 3, which is still running in select movie halls, is heading to OTT shortly and that it would drop on Zee5. There was no indication of a possible premiere date, but sources suggest that the film will be on the platform closer to Mother’s Day, which falls on May 10.

Love Mocktail 3, according to Krishna, is the final chapter in the protagonist Aadhi’s tale. The film picks up a few years after he adopts a young girl child, Ramya, whom he has named Nidhi. Despite his best efforts to inculcate a disciplined routine, Nidhi’s playful naughtiness ensures that Aadhi is a regular fixture at her school, as the principal gives him the low-down on her latest escapades. Everything’s fine for the father-daughter duo, until Nidhi’s biological grandmother surfaces and stakes claim on the child. What ensues is a courtroom battle about Nidhi’s custody. Who does she eventually go with? That is what Love Mocktail 3 is all about.

The film, which also stars Milana Nagaraj, Rekha Kudligi, Dilip Raj, Shwetha Prasad, Samvrutha, Jagadish, Rajani Bharadwaj, Abhilash Dalapathy, Vaishali Deepak, Amrutha Iyengar and Rachel David, among others, featured music by Nakul Abhyankar, who also had a cameo. This, despite the fact that Krishna and Milana’s announcement that they were making a third film in the franchise was widely ridiculed. Netizens said that the franchise had run its course after the second film, but Krishna was able to turn that sentiment around. In fact, he used Love Mocktail 3 to address some of the criticism levelled against the second film, including questions about a single man adopting a girl child, and the protagonist’s mental health while being given charge of a young child.
