Malayalam film Karakkam will be having a theatrical release soon. The musical horror comedy, which stars Sreenath Bhasi in the lead role, was announced in July last year, along with the details of its cast and crew in a poster.
Femina George, Sidharth Bharathan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Manikandan Achari, Bijukuttan, Midhutty, Praveen TJ, and Shaun Romy have all been confirmed to play significant roles in this film. Karakkam also marks the directorial debut of Subhash Lalitha Subramanian.
Under the banner of Black Turtle Productions and Krown Stars Entertainment, Kimberly Trinidade and Ankush Singh are funding this horror comedy. Sam CS has composed the background score and soundtracks. The film's narrative and screenplay were written by the young filmmakers, Nipin Narayan, and Arjun Narayan. The producers claim that the film contains some visually striking and terrifying scenes in a musical form, which is something novel in Mollywood.
The film centres on two young friends who are haunted by a group of zombie-like ghosts in their van, according to the recently released teaser. Additionally, it has been rumoured that the movie's trailer would be released in the next few days.

After the success of Prakambanam earlier this year, fans of horror comedies are anticipating another hit in this genre. Starring Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Ameen, Prakambanam is available for streaming on ZEE5.
