Dharma Productions' upcoming romantic musical drama Chand Mera Dil has locked its digital streaming partner ahead of its highly anticipated theatrical premiere. As a major OTT acquisition, the film will be streamed exclusively on JioHotstar after its lengthy theatrical run, featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya in the lead roles.
This coming Friday, May 22, 2026, marks the worldwide release of the film. The eight-week exclusive theatrical window that Chand Mera Dil will keep before moving to OTT is in line with industry standards. Therefore, the romance drama will likely make its streaming service debut on or around July 17, 2026. The overall longevity of the film at the box office and official confirmation from the studio are the only factors that can affect its digital release timeline.
Directed by Meenakshi Sundareshwar filmmaker Vivek Soni, Chand Mera Dil explores a passionate, musically focused storyline concerning youthful love, contemporary relationships, and emotional estrangement. This film is Panday and Lakshya's first big onscreen collaboration. As part of their production company, Dharma Productions, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Adar Poonawalla are backing the film.
