Malayalam film Varavu will hit the big screens soon, confirmed the makers, announcing a new release date. The action thriller, starring Joju George in the lead role, will now have a theatrical premiere on July 16 worldwide. Sree Gokulam Movies will release the film in theatres across India. It was earlier slated to release in May but later postponed to June. However, the film was delayed again due to unknown reasons.

Sources claim that the protagonist of Varavu, which takes place in the highlands of Kerala, is Polachan, also referred to as Poly, who worked hard for years to create a fortune for his family. His need to return to his hometown in order to wreak retribution for long-standing grudges is the main premise of the movie.

Joju George is collaborating with Shaji Kailas for the first time. With Joju George's powerful acting and the mass-making style of Shaji Kailas, who is well-known for making a few successful action films in Mollywood, moviegoers are hopeful that every frame of Varavu will be a treat for the lovers of this genre.
