Following the remarkable success of 2025 Malayalam film Eko, Aaradyaa Studios has officially unveiled the title poster of its next production, Poocha Sir. The film is produced by MRK Jhayaram under the banner of Aaradyaa Studios, with the intriguing title and visually engaging poster already generating significant attention on social media.
Poocha Sir marks the directorial debut of Rejivan Abdul Basheer, who has previously worked as the chief associate director on several films, including Vaazha 2. The screenplay is written by Arun. D. Jose, who is known for writing and directing popular films such as Jo & Jo, 18+ Journey of Love, and Bromance. The project brings together a talented creative team, promising a fresh and entertaining cinematic experience.
The film features Joemon Jyothir in the lead role, while Alan Bin Siraj appears in a prominent full-length character. A unique highlight of Poocha Sir is the significant role played by a cat, adding a distinctive charm to the narrative. While Aaradyaa Studios’ first production, Eko, scripted by Bahul Ramesh, emphasised the performances of dogs as part of his Animal Trilogy, this film shifts the spotlight to a feline character.
The supporting cast includes several renowned actors from Malayalam and other South Indian industries. With its humorous, adventurous, and visually striking title poster, Poocha Sir promises a unique cinematic experience. The makers have announced that the film will commence shooting in the second half of this year.
Joemon Jyothir was recently announced to play the lead in Vipin Das’ Santhosh Trophy. Alan Bin Siraj, who is well known for his comedic content online, starred in Vaazha 2 along with Hashir, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V.
