The trailer for Balan, which has been attracting a lot of attention from viewers since its triumphant showing at the Cannes Film Festival, has now been released by its makers. The movie's trailer was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, respectively, by Ajay Devgn, Suriya Sivakumar, Naga Chaitanya, and Raj B. Shetty.
Through the perspective of a youngster and his mother, the film's trailer offers a glimpse into a cinematic experience that explores profound human and emotional dimensions and is based on the themes of personality, identity, and survival. In addition to showcasing an intense and outstanding performance from the lead characters, Farzana and Adhiseshan, the teaser also gives a look at Tovino Thomas playing a significant role in the film. Lal Jr is shown as a cop investigating the true identity of this mother and child.
Vivek Harshan is in charge of the film's editing, and Shyju Khalid is the cinematographer. The soundtrack for the movie had been composed by Sushin Shyam. On June 19, Balan is scheduled to open in cinemas. The film, which is co-produced by KVN Productions & Thespian Films, is directed by Chidambaram and written by Jithu Madhavan. It was recently confirmed that the film will be streaming on ZEE5 following its theatrical run.
On May 14, the movie debuted to a global audience at the Cannes Film Festival's Marché du Film. "Balan The Boy is a film about what we bear without knowing, the gravity of where we come from, and the hunger to find where we belong," director Chidambaram stated in reference to the film's Cannes screening.
