The release date of the upcoming Malayalam film, Chinna Chinna Aasai, starring Madhubala and Indrans in the lead roles, has been announced by its makers. The film is set to hit the big screen on June 19, with Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films releasing it in theatres across Kerala. The film is being produced by Abhijit Babuji under the banner of Babuji Productions.

The movie's first music video was just released and attracted a lot of interest from viewers online. Govind Vasantha composed the song, which begins with the lyrics "Kara Kaviyathe," and Abhijit Anilkumar lent his voice to it. The posters of the film surely hint at a feel-good drama that is enhanced by the lead actors’ performances.

Another element that has drawn the interest of viewers is the fact that Madhubala is making a comeback to Malayalam with a powerful lead character in this movie. Madhubala is working with Indrans for the first time. It's interesting to note that Dulquer Salmaan's production company also supported Indrans' other recent Malayalam movie, Aashaan. This feel-good film, which also starred Joemon Jyothir and Shobi Thilakan, is yet to have an OTT release. Indrans recently garnered praise for his performance in Suriya-RJ Balaji’s blockbuster, Karuppu.

Chinna Chinna Aasai is directed by Varsha Vasudev, who is best known for her short film Ente Narayanikku. The majority of the filming was completed in Varanasi. Govind Vasantha created the music and background soundtrack for this movie. Rakeson Joseph is the editor, and Fayas Siddique has helmed the film's camera work. Chidambaram’s acclaimed Malayalam film, Balan, is also slated to release on June 19.
