The trailer of Tamil sports drama film Gatta Kusthi 2, starring Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi, in the lead roles has been released a week ahead of its theatrical premiere. The audio launch and trailer launch of the film were held in an event in Chennai on June 28. The film will hit the theatres as a global release on July 3.
According to the trailer, the movie will follow Veera and Keerthy, portrayed by Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi, as they balance raising their daughter and pursuing their love of wrestling. Additionally, the teaser suggests that sports action, comedy, family drama, and emotion will all be used to convey the story in an entertaining manner.
While Keerthy pursues her wrestling career, Veera looks for the family and their daughter as shown in the two-minute, 39-second video. People first praise this couple's love and respect for one another, but as a school teacher, a wrestling coach, and a few other people enter their lives, issues gradually surface.
The teaser of the film and the trailer that has just been released indicate that the second part is a sequel to the hugely successful first part, Gatta Kusthi, which is streaming on Netflix. Chella Ayyavu has directed both the films. The other main stars of the film are Ramya Krishnan, Moksha, Karunas, Kali Venkat, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Muniskanth, and Sara. Gatta Kusthi is being brought to theatres in Kerala by E4 Entertainment. The film is being produced by Wales Film International and Vishnu Vishal Studios.
