The title of actor Suriya's next that was tentatively called Suriya 47, a Malayalam film directed by Aavesham and Romancham maker Jithu Madhavan, has been unveiled as ‘Scene’ by its makers. It has also been confirmed that the movie will release in theatres on November 6, 2026.
This has all been announced with a teaser that shows glimpses of Suriya as the lead character, DSP Inbaraj. Nazriya and Naslen are also playing important parts in this movie; however, the teaser has not unveiled their parts in it for now. The film's post-production is now underway.
Film enthusiasts were quite excited when it was announced that Suriya and Malayalam director Jithu Madhavan would be collaborating on a movie that was tentatively named Suriya 47. Furthermore, Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights to the untitled production, as previously disclosed by the film's makers. In the middle of this, they revealed that this much-awaited movie will be available for streaming on the online platform following its theatrical run in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
On December 7 of last year, Naslen and Nazriya attended the pooja ceremony for the film in Chennai with Suriya, Jyothika and Jithu Madhavan. The music for this much-anticipated film has been composed by Sushin Shyam. Jithu Madhavan rose to fame with his directorials, Romancham and Aavesham. The other stars in this Suriya film are Lal, John Vijay, and Anand Raj. Zhagaram Studios & 2D Entertainment have bankrolled this big-budget film, which is expected to be a treat in theatre during the Diwali holidays this year.
