The makers of Prempaatta have revealed its release date poster, confirming that the campus romance will hit theatres on November 27. Set during a college NSS camp, the film is directed by Aamir Pallikkal and features Joemon Jyothir in the lead role. The movie, which was announced last year, completed its post-production works recently. With campus dramas largely missing from recent Malayalam releases, Prempaatta arrives just in time to bridge that gap and treat theatre audiences to an entertaining ride.

The newly released poster—featuring young actors such as Jomon Jyothir, Saaf Boi, Junais V.P., Nayana Elsa, Tis Thomas, Innocent, Vignesh V.Q., Ryan N.T.P., and Salmanul Farisi—has generated positive traction across social media platforms. Alongside introducing roughly 40 fresh faces, the film features a robust supporting ensemble, including Saiju Kurup, Anusree, Rajesh Madhavan, Siddique, Sanju Sivram, Irshad, Tasni Khan, Ashwin Vijayan, V.P. Kunhikrishnan, Sanesh Guinness, Unniraja, Bipin Perumpally, Aneesh Nandagopal, and Sarasa Balussery. Jomon Jyothir had garnered fame for his lead performance in the Indrans-starrer Aashaan earlier this year. Aashaan is streaming on Sun NXT and Amazon Prime Video.
Crew of Prempaatta
Prempaatta is helmed by director Aamir Pallikkal, who is known for his previous films, Manu Warrier-starrer Ayisha and Suraj Venjaramoodu’s ED. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by popular author Lijeesh Kumar, who is well-recognised among Malayalam readers. Produced by Aamir Pallikkal under the Studio Outsiders banner, the film features music composed by Ankit Menon, who also serves as a co-producer. The lyrics are written by Suhail M.Koya and Muthu, with cinematography by Renadive and editing by Akash Joseph Varghese.
