Directed by Ram Kumar, Irandu Vaanam marks his third collaboration with Vishnu Vishal after the acclaimed Tamil films- Mundasupatti and Ratsasan. It has now been confirmed that the film is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23.
A romantic fantasy centred around love, emotions and fantasy, Irandu Vaanam brings together Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju for the first time. The story revolves around the characters portrayed by the two lead actors and promises an engaging blend of romance, fantasy and emotional elements. The film is presented by T.G. Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Senthil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. Binu George Alexander Productions has acquired the Kerala distribution rights of the upcoming Tamil romantic fantasy ‘Irandu Vaanam’, starring Mamitha Baiju and Vishnu Vishal in the lead roles.
Shot across picturesque locations including Kodaikanal, the film has completed its production and is now gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on October 23.
For Mamitha Baiju, who has established a strong presence in both the Malayalam and Tamil film industries, Irandu Vaanam is another highly anticipated Tamil project. She has also been part of prominent Tamil films, including ‘Jana Nayagan’, starring Vijay and Bobby Deol, and ‘Vishwanath & Sons’, which had Suriya in the lead role. In Malayalam, Mamitha Baiju recently starred in ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, which went on to become Mollywood’s blockbuster this year. Nivin Pauly-starrer ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ will be streaming on JioHotstar from October 2 in other South Indian languages apart from Malayalam.
