Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram are teaming up with director Anil Ravipudi for an upcoming Telugu entertainer. The film has been progressing quickly and has now been titled January 12 Vidudala.
Bankrolled by Sahu Garapati, Archana and Zee Studios, the project has already generated interest with the first looks of Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. The title was announced through a fun promotional video which pays a tribute to veteran director E.V.V. Satyanarayana and includes a reference to the popular Appula Appa Rao comedy sequence.
Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are seen asking Anil Ravipudi about the film’s title. The director simply replies, “January 12 Vidudala.” The actors initially misunderstand him, thinking he is revealing the release date instead of the title.
The confusion turns into a comedy sequence before Anil finally confirms that January 12 Vidudala is indeed the title and also the release date of the film. The film is based on Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s ego issues as they play brothers-in-law in this comedy caper.
With a strong cast, a popular director, and a festive release, the film is expected to be a lively Sankranthi entertainer. GV Prakash composes the music for this film, which will have a Rayalaseema backdrop, and Venkatesh plays a military man
