“Real Housewives of New York” mainstay Bethenny Frankel announced on Monday that she’ll be joining the upcoming season of “Shark Tank.”

Frankel, who used her high-profile presence on “Real Housewives” to promote her uber-successful company Skinnygirl, shared the news on social media along with an official portrait for the hit ABC show

“I guess I am a shark after all,” she tweeted. “Watch out @ABCSharkTank – comin’ for u this fall. Are you as excited as I am? #sharktank”

Frankel will reportedly appear as a guest shark on the show, though it’s unclear how many episodes she’ll be on. She joins former Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson and Spanx founder Sara Blakely, who will also serve as guests on the show.

The guests will serve as the fifth shark on each respective episode of the show this upcoming season, as the six main sharks will rotate in to fill the four other chairs. Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary will continue on as main sharks.

Frankel will fit right in alongside those big names in business. The star sold Skinnygirl back in 2011 for an estimated $100 million, making her far and away the most successful personality to come out of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise. Not only that, but her larger-than-life personality will give the other sharks on “Shark Tank” a literal run for their money.

After appearing on “RHONY” for its first three seasons, Frankel left the show to star in her own spinoff “Bethenny Getting Married?” only to return to “Real Housewives” for Seasons 7, 8 and the current Season 9.
